Gluten-Free Flour Mix
In this video I show you how easy it is to make your own gluten-free flour mix which can be used for breadmaking or general baking.
4 parts by weight of any combination of
  • Brown rice flour
  • Buckwheat flour
  • Corn (Maize) flour
  • Mesquite flour
  • Millet flour
  • Oat flour
  • Quinoa flour
  • Sorghum flour
  • Teff flour
6 parts by weight of any combination of
  • Arrowroot flour
  • Cornstarch
  • Potato flour
  • Potato starch
  • Sweet rice flour
  • Tapioca flour
  • White rice flour
  1. Simply place the flours in a large container, close tightly with a lid, and shake!
The choice of flours you use will depend very much on the cost and availability of various flours in your area, as well as your own personal taste. Don't be afraid to experiment until you find a blend that you feel is best for you.

Keep the flour in an airtight container and don't make up too much at a time. I generally make mine in 1 kg (2 lb) batches.
